Frame

Frame is a template for video creators, YouTubers and streamers who want a home base that hits as hard as their thumbnails. It opens on a punchy hero — channel name, tagline, a live subscriber count and a featured video with a play overlay — then drops into a grid of latest uploads with duration pills and view counts. Platform chips, a brand-deals strip and a community band give viewers, sponsors and superfans an obvious next step, all over an ink-dark stage lit by one electric accent.

Thumbnail energy — an ink-dark stage lit by hot-pink and electric teal, built to make you press play.

Design rules

The system, applied to any site

  • Stage everything on a deep ink-violet (around #0E0B16) with bright lilac-white text and exactly one vivid hot-pink accent for the subscribe button, play controls and active states; let an electric teal second accent flag views, durations and "new" markers.
  • Make the featured video the hero: a wide 16:9 thumbnail card with a big circular play button overlay, a duration pill and a bold title, so the loudest thing on the page is something to press.
  • Build the page from thumbnails, not paragraphs — a responsive latest-videos grid where each card is a 16:9 image with a corner duration pill, a two-line title and a teal views/date line, and keep empty thumbnail slots as vivid tinted blocks with a play glyph rather than repeated images.
  • Show proof loudly: an oversized subscriber count near the title, view counts on every card, and a "watch on" chip row so the channel feels active and everywhere at once.
  • Set headings in a punchy geometric sans (Space Grotesk or similar) at confident, tightly-tracked sizes, drop to 15-16px body, and lean on letter-spaced uppercase microlabels for section eyebrows.
  • Round cards and chips generously (14-18px / full pills), keep borders a barely-there violet hairline, and repeat the subscribe action in the hero, the community band and the footer.

Baked fresh every sunrise

Warm bread, slow mornings, a kinder kind of breakfast.

A small neighborhood bakery turning honest flour, patient time and a hot oven into crusty loaves, buttery pastries and the best excuse to leave the house early.

Today: Country Loaf

$8

Stone-milled flour, 24-hour rise. Out of the oven at 7am.

Today’s bakes

A short, ever-changing list. When it’s gone, it’s gone.

Stone Country Loaf

$8

Stone-milled wheat, 24-hour cold rise, blistered crust.

Brown-Butter Croissant

$5

Laminated by hand, folded thirty-six times, shatteringly flaky.

Honey Rye Bun

$4

Dark rye crumb, wildflower honey glaze, toasted caraway.

Our story
“We started with one borrowed oven, a sack of flour, and the stubborn belief that bread tastes better when nobody’s in a hurry.”

Eight years on, we still mix every dough by hand, still proof it overnight, and still sell out by noon most days. Flour & Ember is run by the same two bakers who opened it — you’ll usually find us dusted in flour behind the counter.

— Mara & Tomás, founders & head bakers
