Warm Artisan is a tactile, inviting design system built for neighborhood bakeries, cafés and small-batch food makers. It pairs a refined serif for headings with a clean sans body over ivory and cream surfaces, accented by terracotta and soft brown for a hand-crafted, oven-fresh feel. Generous spacing, gentle rounded corners and big product imagery keep the focus on the food.

Our story
“We started with one borrowed oven, a sack of flour, and the stubborn belief that bread tastes better when nobody’s in a hurry.”

Eight years on, we still mix every dough by hand, still proof it overnight, and still sell out by noon most days. Flour & Ember is run by the same two bakers who opened it — you’ll usually find us dusted in flour behind the counter.

What it decides for you

  • Keep backgrounds in the cream/ivory family and reserve terracotta for primary calls-to-action and small highlights only.
  • Pair an elegant serif (Fraunces) for headings with a clean sans (Inter) for body to balance character and readability.
  • Use gentle rounded corners (12–16px) on cards, buttons and images for a soft, tactile feel.
