Veloce

Veloce is a dark, cinematic luxury product page for a limited-run electric hypercar, composed with the restraint of a marque like Ferrari, Bentley or Aston Martin. A near-black studio canvas gives vast negative space to a single silver machine, lit from the dark and framed by an elegant serif display face against a technical monospace, with a cool platinum accent reserved for the moments that earn it. It runs a full-bleed cinematic hero into a four-figure performance band (0–100, range, power, top speed), a form/interior story with full-bleed photography, a hairline spec table, a color-and-trim configurator teaser built from live swatch chips, a gallery grid, an owner/press quote with a stat band, and a Reserve CTA anchored by a refundable deposit amount. Every color role reads through --ca-* variables so the recolor studio can retune the entire car live, and all photography resolves from real Unsplash sources.

Cinematic, restrained luxury — a near-black studio where a single silver hypercar is lit from the dark, all negative space, hairlines and elegant serif type.

The Veloce · GT Electric

Silence, at four hundred kilometres an hour.

A quad-motor electric hypercar carved from a single carbon monocoque. Ninety-nine will ever be built — each one commissioned, never merely bought.

Form

Shaped by the air it displaces.

Every surface earns its place. Active aerodynamics draw the body low as speed builds, while a full underfloor channels air into 640 kilograms of downforce — enough to hold the car to the road where lesser machines take flight.

The cabin is a study in restraint: milled aluminium, hand-stitched Alcantara, and a single machined dial. Nothing that does not serve the drive survives.

I have driven every hypercar of the decade. The Veloce is the first that made the noise of them all feel like an apology.

Design rules

The system, applied to any site

  • Anchor the page on a near-black studio canvas and let full-bleed cinematic photography carry the emotion — scrim each image with a bg-to-transparent gradient so text always sits on darkness, never on a busy frame.
  • Give the product room: use vast negative space and hairline 1px rules instead of cards and heavy fills, so a single machine reads as the whole page.
  • Pair an elegant serif display face for headlines and big numerals with a technical monospace for eyebrows, labels and spec keys, and a neutral sans for body — uppercase mono with wide letter-spacing signals precision.
  • Reserve the cool platinum and warm-bronze accents for the moments that earn them — the eyebrow seam, the active configurator chip, the performance units, the reserve seal — and keep body copy calm at muted stone-grey.
  • State performance as large serif numerals with a small unit and an uppercase caption (0–100, range, power, top speed), and let a hairline spec table and live swatch chips do the selling with almost no chrome.
  • Keep corners nearly square (~6px), buttons rectangular with mono uppercase labels, and every interaction quiet — slow image zooms and 2px lifts, nothing that competes with the car.
