Developer

Forge

Forge is a developer-first landing template built to sell an API, not document it. The dark charcoal canvas and a single vivid accent put a syntax-highlighted request front and centre, so the product demos itself above the fold. A "drop in three steps" row, a metrics-led features grid (latency, SDKs, webhooks, uptime), and a faux JSON response panel turn capability claims into something an engineer can read and trust in seconds.

Dark, precise, and engineered — a product that earns trust by showing the request, not describing it.

v2 · REST + Webhooks

Ship payments-grade APIs in an afternoon.

Forge gives you a typed client, signed webhooks, and sub-50ms responses from a single key. No SDK sprawl, no surprise rate limits — just one endpoint that behaves the same in every language.

Drop in, in three steps

~5 min
01
Install the SDK

Add the typed client with a single command. ESM, CJS, and Deno builds ship in the box.

02
Authenticate

Drop your secret key into an environment variable. Keys are scoped and rotate without downtime.

03
Make your first call

Send a request and read a typed response. Errors come back structured, never as raw HTML.

Built for production from request one

Every number below is measured, published, and backed by an error budget — not a marketing promise.

47ms
p99 latency

Requests served from 14 edge regions, so the call lands close to your user.

8
official SDKs

TypeScript, Python, Go, Ruby, Rust, PHP, Java, and a CLI — all generated from one spec.

HMAC
signed webhooks

Every event is signed and retried with backoff, so you never silently miss one.

99.99%
uptime

A public status page and a measured error budget back the number — no asterisks.

PREDICTABLE RESPONSES

You always know what comes back

Responses are versioned and strictly typed. Idempotency keys make retries safe, and every object carries a stable id so you can reconcile against your own ledger without guesswork.

Design rules

The system, applied to any site

  • Stay dark and near-monochrome: a near-black charcoal canvas (#0A0C10) with a slightly lighter panel surface (#12161D), and reserve the single vivid lime accent (#A3E635) for the primary CTA, active states, and key metrics — never as a background wash.
  • Lead with code, not a photo: the hero centres on a syntax-highlighted request in a windowed panel (curl or JS) with token colours for keywords, strings, and numbers, so the product demonstrates itself before any prose.
  • Use monospace deliberately: set all code, endpoints, status codes, and metric numerals in a monospace stack (ui-monospace, SFMono-Regular, Menlo) to signal "this is technical", and keep body copy in a clean sans-serif (Inter).
  • Favour hairline borders (#1E252F) and small 10px radii over shadows; separate sections with thin rules and generous vertical spacing rather than heavy cards or gradients.
  • Make claims measurable: state features as numbers with units (p99 latency in ms, uptime as a percentage, SDK count) so capability reads as evidence, and pair each with one short concrete sentence.
  • Keep contrast high and copy terse: bright text (#E8EDF2) on dark, muted grey (#8A95A5) for secondary lines, short imperative button labels, and no decorative filler.

Honey Rye Bun

$4

Our story
“We started with one borrowed oven, a sack of flour, and the stubborn belief that bread tastes better when nobody’s in a hurry.”

Eight years on, we still mix every dough by hand, still proof it overnight, and still sell out by noon most days. Flour & Ember is run by the same two bakers who opened it — you’ll usually find us dusted in flour behind the counter.

— Mara & Tomás, founders & head bakers
