SmartRoute

SmartRoute is a refined, operations-tool design system on a light cream canvas with a rust-and-brown accent. It is built for internal platforms that take in operational requests — access, procurement, facilities, IT — and send each one to the right team, first time. A serif headline that mixes roman and italic sits above a real CSS product screenshot: a rules list, request rows with status pills, and an approval flow. The signature is a "request → rule → route → approve" pill flow that makes the routing logic legible at a glance.

Warm, premium and operational — cream paper, rust accents and an editorial serif that make an internal routing tool feel considered rather than utilitarian.

Routing with a Pulse.

SmartRoute takes every internal operational request — access, procurement, facilities, IT — and sends it to the right team, every time. Rules do the sorting, approvals keep moving, and resolution time falls from days to hours.

Rules you can read

Route on request type, amount, team, data sensitivity or working hours. Rules are ordered, versioned and named — no black-box scoring.

Approval flow

Approvals that keep moving

Single, sequential or quorum approvals with SLA timers. If an approver is out, the request re-routes to their deputy automatically.

Service levels

SLAs that hold teams honest

Every request carries a target — 4 hours for access, 2 days for procurement. Breaches escalate one level up before they go cold.

The system, applied to any site

  • Set everything on a warm cream canvas (#f4f1ea) with white cards and a single rust accent (#a4552f) reserved for the primary button, active states and routed teams; use the softer clay tone (#c98a5a) only for eyebrows and small highlights.
  • Lead with a small "Now coming soon" eyebrow pill, then a serif headline that mixes roman and italic — set one emphatic word in italic Fraunces (e.g. "Pulse.") to carry the brand voice.
  • Pair two buttons under the headline: a solid rust primary and a ghost outline secondary, never two filled buttons competing for the same weight.
  • Float a realistic product screenshot in a white panel with a soft, low, warm-tinted shadow and a thin cream border — it should read as a real app, not a decorative blob.
  • Make the "request → rule → route → approve" pill flow the signature: four labelled pills joined by arrows, repeated in the hero and echoed inside the screenshot so the routing logic is legible everywhere.
  • Use status pills with restrained tints (routed, waiting, approved, escalated) and plausible operational specifics — team names, SLA targets in hours, request types — rather than generic filler.
