About the record

A note from Sable

I wrote most of Slow Light in a borrowed room above a laundromat, where the only quiet hours were the ones nobody else wanted. It is a record about staying up too late on purpose — and what you finally hear when the city goes still.

We tracked it almost entirely live to tape, one take a night, until the songs stopped sounding like demos and started sounding like rooms. Thank you for listening to all ten.

Every rule below travels with the template — describe your tweaks and the agent keeps the system intact.

What it decides for you

  • Anchor the whole page on one release: every section should reinforce the same album title, cover art and "out now" status rather than spreading across a full discography.
  • Build on a near-black stage (around #0B0B0F) with warm off-white text and exactly one rich accent (warm amber) for play controls, links and emphasis; reserve a darker tone of it for gradients, never as a second flat colour.
  • Open with a full-bleed cinematic hero: a moody portrait under a bottom-up dark gradient, a small letter-spaced "Out now" label, the album title in a large display face and the cover art floated alongside.
  • Give the tracklist real weight — numbered rows with track titles and run times on hairline dividers — so it reads like the back of a sleeve, and repeat the listen CTA near it.
  • Keep corners softly rounded (10–14px), borders barely-there, and lean on letter-spaced uppercase microlabels with generous dark whitespace so the page feels like a curated liner note, not a busy dashboard.
